Unplanned events/ Incidents–Emergency (24×7) response

Travelers are provided with a 24×7 hotline number that can be used for emergency issues, or questions on how to deal with situations. Travelers can also sign up for access to on the ground asset(s), who can be available immediately in case of emergencies

We also provide a full suite of resources and procedures for dealing with all unplanned events and emergencies

In case of emergencies, our Zone intelligence operations center can provide travel assistance advice, such as

We can:

  • Connect you with local Asset on the Ground for protection services
  • Help you find appropriate medical care
  • Assist you in reporting a crime to the police
  • Contact relatives or friends with your written consent
  • Explain the local criminal justice process in general terms
  • Provide a list of local attorneys
  • Help you get in touch with US consulate
  • Provide information on victim’s compensation programs in the U.S.
  • Provide an emergency loan for repatriation to the United States and/or limited medical support in cases of destitution
  • Help you find accommodations and/or arrange flights home
  • Provide information re-stolen or lost passport
